<span class="post-b">Guerrila Toss</span> are such a tight unit that their art-funk moves like one wiggling, spastic organism: Kallie Carlson's shrieks, Ian Kovic's squealing synths, Arian Shaifee 's aluminum-foil guitar, and Peter Negroponte's nine-tabs-open drumming all swarm towards you at once. On "367 Equalizer", a rubbery funk bass line courses underneath the chaos, keeping the music anchored firmly to the ground. The tension assaults our higher brain on one end and moves our hips at the other, creating a gyrating groove so strong that it threatens to pull you apart.</span><hr class="post-hr">
