О релизе

Composer David Chesky has two full length albums planned later in 2015, one orchestral and one jazz. In preparation for these, enjoy a small taste of David's works with this mini album featuring his three Brazilian Dances for solo piano as well as his Etude No. 1 for solo piano. Both works emanate from David's compositional style, a combination of 21st century harmonies paired with South American rhythms.
Part of the Chesky Binaural + Series, all recorded using binaural techniques, the pianist appears right before you with this spacious, lush and multi-dimensional recording. Now headphone users will hear the same three-dimensional sound and imaging as audiophiles have for the past 25 years with Chesky Recordings. Also these new Binaural+ Series albums capture even more spatial realism for the home audiophile market, bringing you one step closer to the actual event.

Recorded with the MSB A/D converter, Crystal Cables, B & K 4100 head and torso simulator. Special thanks to Professor Edgar Choueiri, of the 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics (3D3A) Lab of Princeton University, for his technical assistance on the 3D audio aspects of this binaural recording.
