This CD is tremendous! The title is more than accurate, as this music will indeed soothe the listener. The music is relaxing and satisfying. I have been a fan of Jim Brickman's music since his first CD. "Soothe" is a triumphant return to Jim's New Age roots, with no guest vocalists this time out (although I enjoy those selections as well). What further excites me about this current release is the promise of a Volume 2!


For those able to do so, Jim Brickman is presenting "Soothe Cruise": a week-long cruise from New York City, October 3-10, 2015, on the Norwegian Cruiseline's Gem. Itinerary includes stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick; Boston, MA; and Portland, ME.
