Об альбоме (сборнике)
Korean people are lively and loquacious in all social situations… except when they travel in their high-speed trains (‘KTX’), where they strictly follow, to an unparalleled extent, their unwritten etiquette of silence. This generates a magnificent unintended sonic interplay between enveloping broad-band machine sounds and a surrounding voiceless collective human presence, both of them with their own intricacies and hidden details.
Created from non-transformed original recordings of interior environments of high-speed trains across Korea. Recorded in 2023. Edited and mastered at ‘Hundred Islands Studios’ (Rosclave enclave) in 2024.
Headphone listening highly recommended.
