Season of Mist выпускает юбилейное переиздание альбома «Oikoumene (10th Anniversary Edition)» — отредактированной и обновленной версии культового альбома Theodor Bastard.
В новой версии слушатели найдут не только новое звучание и иной концептуальный порядок песен, но и три ранее не издававшихся новых трека. Они являются уникальным дополнением к уже известному материалу. Песня Jamarakaya, вошедшая в переиздание, ранее исполнялась на концертах группы и очень понравилась фанатам. Теперь есть возможность услышать его в студийном качестве. Два других трека, такие как MamaTerra и Atika, были записаны в тот же период, что и "Oikoumene", но они публикуются впервые. Season of Mist releasing the anniversary reissue of the album “Oikoumene (10th Anniversary Edition)" - an edited and remastered version of the iconic album by Theodor Bastard.
In the new version listeners will find not only a new sound and a different conceptual order of songs, but also three previously unreleased new tracks. They are a unique addition to the already known material. The Jamarakaya song included in the reissue was previously performed at the band's concerts and was dearly loved by fans. Now there is an opportunity to hear it in studio quality. Two other tracks such as MamaTerra and Atika were recorded in the same period as "Oikoumene", but they are released for the first time. Despite the fact that these compositions are very different, they have one thing in common — they are permeated with a pristine ethnic atmosphere, akin to the sound kaleidoscope of the album "Oikoumene", and continue the story of distant, unexplored lands.
The album "Oikoumene" was recognized by critics as one of the significant works in the genre of modern world music. A completely live recording with many instruments and performers filled with world folk motifs, became a turning point in the development of Theodor Bastard.
The first edition of "Oikoumene" was released on February 22, 2012 on the band's own label Theo Records, a year later the disc was released in Europe by the German label Danse Macabre Records, in Mexico by The Art Records and reissued by the label Mirumir on vinyl.
